IR3 Triple Infrared Flame Detector – 016589 Bosch
Flame detectors are used to detect open flames indoors or outdoors and respond to the light emitted by flames during combustion.
They are especially suitable for smokeless gas or liquid fires not detectable to the naked eye, as well as for fires of carbon-containing materials with high smoke emissions.
Typical application areas are large industrial warehouses, hangars, chemical facilities, oil refineries, engine rooms, ferries and freight ships, power plants, printing plants, lumberyards or underground tunnels.
Sensitivity according to EN 54-10 Class 1: 0.1 m² a 25 m. Low false alarm risk due to different IR wavelengths and a combination of filters and signal processing techniques.

The Hochiki SPC-24 Projected Beam Smoke Detector consists of an emitter and receiver. The SPC-24 detector should be placed so that smoke generated by a fire will likely rise into the path of the beam. The receiver is constantly monitoring and measuring the intensity of the beam transmitted by the emitter. Should the smoke from a fire cause a decrease in the signal strength of a magnitude that exceeds the programmed obscuration setting, an alarm signal is generated.
